HR Generalist - Employee Relations & Recruiting

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with an established landscape organization in their search for an HR Generalist. Our client is seeking a hands‑on HR professional who is comfortable supporting employees and leadership across a variety of HR functions. Talent acquisition will be a major focus of the role, along with benefits administration and other day‑to‑day HR responsibilities. Support day‑to‑day HR operations and provide general HR support to employees and managers
Assist with full‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the hiring process
Partner with hiring managers to support staffing and hiring needs
Support onboarding and new hire processes
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
Assist with HR‑related reporting, compliance, and administrative processes
Support employee relations and other general HR matters as needed
Help implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and overall efficiency
2+ years of general HR experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Working knowledge of general HR practices and employment laws
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HRIS and other HR technology platforms
