Process Engineer

Business Unit: MAES; Division: Kuprion.

Responsibilities

Daily monitoring of production for quality, cycle time, EHS compliance, and consistency with documented work practices.

Monitor processes closely and oversee SPC-related activities for critical processes.

Determine root causes for out-of-control products and other product failures, and follow through with corrective actions.

Prepare periodic statistical reports for customers and ensure timely submission.

Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) as assigned, ensure timely closeout, root‑cause resolution, and minimize repeat occurrences.

Support QA on customer complaints related to batch manufacturing processes, including work on Corrective Action Requests (CAR).

Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products.

Troubleshoot and resolve process equipment‑related problems.

Collaborate with Maintenance/Production and follow proper Management of Change protocol on equipment repairs and process changes to ensure maximum process safety.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Production and oversee execution of equipment and instrumentation calibration program.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

3+ years of related experience in a process engineering role.

Effective exposure and training in Continuous Improvement Methodology, such as Six Sigma Green Belt.

Typical base salary range: $81,470.00 – $122,206.00.
