Position: PRN Licensed Practical NurseJob Type: PRN; Non-ExemptShift Details: 7:00am - 7:30pm / 7:00pm - 7:30am (required to work two 12-hour shifts per month)Work Setting: Peoria, AZSalary/Hourly Wage: $32.00 - $34.00/hourSpecialties / Licenses or Certifications:Current and valid state LPN license.Summary of Job:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. The LPN position also identifies the need for medical attention and alerts the Physician and/or RN of medical concerns.Guest Care & Advocacy: Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.Coordinates care including assisting individuals with making medical and/or other Provider appointments as needed.Compliance & Risk Management: Assists with intake process.Monitors care of individuals to include monitoring of medications under the supervision of the RN.Oversees and maintains medication records in accordance with policy and State Regulations.Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.Provides support to Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, which includes treatment and discharge planning.Graduation from an accredited LPN program.Current and valid LPN license.Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.Thorough comprehension of psychiatric nursing preferred.Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.Skills: Basic computer skills.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy.If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.Miscellaneous Requirement(s): Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.Travel required based on business need.Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process if applicable.Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility.
