Develop and test CNC programs for lathes using CAM software and G-code.
Optimize toolpaths, cutting parameters, and machining sequences to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Collaborate with design and production teams to interpret engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturability.
Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding devices for various materials and part geometries.
Create and maintain detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operational instructions for CNC operators.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance programming processes and machining techniques.
