This role is responsible for managing bankruptcy‑related loan accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal teams, borrowers, attorneys, and trustees. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of mortgage servicing regulations, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Review and process bankruptcy notifications, court filings, and legal documents related to mortgage loans

Prepare and file proofs of claim, motions, reaffirmation agreements, and other bankruptcy‑related documents

Monitor bankruptcy cases to ensure compliance with court requirements and timelines

Communicate with borrowers, attorneys, trustees, and internal departments regarding account status

Update mortgage servicing systems accurately and maintain complete, compliant documentation

Proficiency with mortgage servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite

In‑depth knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, FDCPA, and CFPB guidelines

Prior experience in mortgage servicing, bankruptcy processing, or loss mitigation
