Courier PositionAre you someone who enjoys being out in the field, staying active, and being a trusted point of contact for clients? First Legal is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Courier to support our Sacramento operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in the legal process—safely and accurately transporting documents, filing at local courthouses, and supporting time-sensitive service requests throughout Sacramento County and surrounding areas.Pick up and deliver legal documents, mail, packages, and boxes to businesses, residences, and courthousesFile documents at County Courthouses and retrieve copies of official recordsComplete process serving requests as assignedBuild and maintain strong, professional relationships with clientsCommunicate proactively with your Supervisor regarding issues, delays, or concernsFollow dispatch instructions while prioritizing accuracy and timelinessRepresent First Legal professionally at all times while on the roadJob Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 points or fewer)Reliable personal vehicle (truck, van, or large SUV a plus)Valid auto insurance (verified quarterly)Ability to pass a background checkPrior courier or professional driving experience5+ years of general work experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyCourteous driving habits and strict adherence to traffic lawsHigh school diploma or GEDAdditional Requirements:Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbsUse of a dolly for larger deliveries as neededWillingness to work occasional overtimeSchedule/Location:Location: Sacramento, CASchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMBudgeted Hours: 40 hours per week, plus occasional overtimePay: $19–$22 per hour, plus mileage reimbursementAbout First Legal:We believe that diversity is integral to our success, and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, or any other basis protected by law.
