Head of Operations & Business Management

Collaborate with the CEO to set and drive organizational vision, operations strategy, profitability and hiring.

Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, goal setting, performance management, and annual planning.

Oversee operations and employee productivity, building a culture ensuring team members thrive and achieve goals.

Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management and retention of team members.

Partner with the CEO (Visionary) on short and long-term planning.

Executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.

Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.

Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process development or improvement.

Implement strategies that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed by the CEO.

Oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO in sales and marketing management.

Manage revenue and expenses aggressively to ensure the company achieves both growth and profitability targets.

Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary.

Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, lenders and investors.

Motivates and leads a high-performance management team.

Integrates all major operating functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.

Demonstrates effective project management and continuous improvement skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field required.

In-depth understanding of budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning.

Understanding of advanced business planning and financial forecasting and reporting.

Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.

MBA strongly preferred.
