Occupational Therapist Job| Elementary - High School

Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting elementary and high school students near Dekalb, IL. This full-time position begins with orientation on September 8, 2026, and continues through January 8, 2027. As a valued team member, you’ll provide direct onsite therapy during FMLA coverage, making a lasting difference in students’ lives.

Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure and credentials required for practice in Illinois

Experience or strong foundational knowledge working with K-12 populations, especially elementary and high school students

Skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring within a school setting

Ability to collaborate effectively with other therapists, teachers, and educational staff

Deliver school-based OT services, focusing on both elementary and high school students

Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and implement therapy sessions

Document services and student progress in accordance with district requirements

Engage in regular collaboration—including monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement initiatives
