Janitor / Maintenance (Temp)

Summary: Perform the cleaning duties to keep assigned work area(s) in a clean and orderly condition. May work alone or in a small crew depending on situation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Floor maintenance (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
Restroom cleaning, sanitation and paper product replenishment
Trash can emptying
Other tasks as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to work with others
Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
Knowledge of or willingness to learn hazards and safety methods related to custodial operations
Must be responsible to effectively complete assigned cleaning duties independently
