Welder/FabricatorWe're looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and brings strong welding and fabrication skills to the job. The ideal candidate can confidently read and work from blueprints, take accurate measurements, and use the tools and equipment required for structural metal fabrication.You should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work. Candidates must also have the skills and experience necessary to successfully complete required ASME welding certification tests within the established timeframe.Location: Thomasville, GAShift/Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm), plus overtimeBasic Function: Perform skilled welding and fabrication work to build and assemble structural metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.Safely and proficiently operate cutting torches and perform carbon arc gouging.Perform welding and fabrication work using established techniques and quality standards.Successfully complete required ASME welding certification tests within the established timeframe.Follow all plant safety rules, procedures, and regulations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Technical training from an accredited school or six (6) months of related welding experience.Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements: Must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside. Will be exposed to noise, dust, and dirt, welding fumes and machine lubricants and/or oils.
