In partnership with Baptist Health South Florida, the Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health is an accredited inpatient rehab facility providing physician‑led, compassionate care for adults with substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health conditions. The registered nurse performs a wide variety of duties during a shift, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions. Establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families are key elements of this position. The RN works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure facility success by completing the following.

Complete appropriate documents within the required timeframe after admission and maintain medical records.

Transcribe Physician orders and implement all Medical Protocols as ordered.

Confer with and assist medical personnel, both internal and external.

Assess the medical and psychiatric needs of patients, determine urgency, and expedite treatment when required.

Communicate concerns about patient health to appropriate personnel and follow up as necessary.

Educate patients about medications, health issues, and medical conditions.

Takes verbal orders from the medical provider, documents them in the patient record, and carries them out accurately and professionally.

Provides routine nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing required.

Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Behavioral health experience preferred.
