Material Handler I - 3rd Shift - Springfield
Our client, an industry leader in distribution and manufacturing, is seeking a Material Handler I - 3rd Shift - Springfield to join their team. As a Material Handler I - 3rd Shift - Springfield, you will be part of the Distribution department supporting various operational functions. Shift: 3rd Shift: 10:00PM-6:00AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with scheduled days off throughout the week and expected to work every weekend.
Operate a lift truck, transporter, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, supplies, and ingredients.
Record keeping on manual, computer, and other systems to ensure accurate inventory management.
Scan items accurately to and from the distribution area.
Provide relief and backup support for various roles including Receiving Office, MOTC, Cheese Dock, CSR, Shock Watch duties, and sanitation tasks.
Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling or related roles.
Ability to operate forklift and other distribution equipment safely and accurately.
Proficiency with systems such as SAP, MS Office, and Vision Pro.
Must be PIV certifiable and capable of acquiring all necessary licenses for equipment operation.
Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity for equipment operation.
