Activity Therapist - PRN - Urgently Hiring!

The Occupational Therapist PRN plans, organizes, and provides professional services in restorative, functional and preventative therapeutic programs to patients. Clinical practice includes evaluation and occupational therapy treatment planning to facilitate rehabilitation of the mentally, physically or emotionally handicapped. Modifies therapy program and goals.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES: Communicates effectively with patients and families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team. CLINICAL SUPERVISION: Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence based practice. Adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.

Exhibits strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team and assures delivery of excellent customer service to all patients, visitors, physicians and coworkers.

Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment.
