Childbirth Nurse

Provide family-centered care for patients with antepartum medical conditions. Care for patients in labor and patients giving birth, including vaginal and Cesarean-section deliveries. Support postpartum patients and those with gynecological conditions. Interact with patients of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level. Consideration given for postpartum nurse candidates instead of Labor and Delivery nurses. Flexible scheduling options may be available, including 48-hour work weeks. Required to work three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend is required.
