Benefits ManagerLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an established organization to identify an experienced Benefits Manager to lead the administration and management of employee benefit programs.The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day benefits administration, compliance, retirement programs, open enrollment, audits, and ongoing process improvements while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external benefit partners. This position offers a hybrid schedule with four days on-site across two Portland-area locations and one remote day per week. The organization also offers an excellent PTO package, paid holidays and holiday closures, and retirement benefits.Responsibilities:Serve as the organization's primary subject matter expert for employee benefits.Manage day-to-day administration of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.Manage retirement plan administration, including a 403(b) plan.Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, HRIS, benefit vendors, brokers, and other external partners.Manage benefits-related projects and initiatives from planning through implementation.Support benefits activities associated with HRIS and systems changes.Proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and drive projects forward with limited oversight.Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple facets of employee benefits.Strong knowledge of health and welfare plans, retirement programs, open enrollment, and benefits compliance.Experience supporting benefits audits, testing, and regulatory requirements strongly preferred.Experience serving as a benefits subject matter expert or primary benefits resource within an organization.Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with equivalent relevant experience.Comfortable working within a small, collaborative HR team and navigating an evolving environment.Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), commuter benefits, and a retirement plan.
