The Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Program is a dementia specific adult day program.

We have an open opportunity for a compassionate social worker within our West Bloomfield center.

With input from the program team, develops and updates care plan with participants and family.

Conduct training in psychosocial needs of participants and their family members.

Attend to daily care and safety requirements of participants as needed.

Assist participants and care partners in finding services and resources as needed.

Bachelor’s (BSW) or master’s in social work (MSW) with licensure (LSW or LMSW)

Experience: 2-5 years of experience working with older adults, specifically those with memory, cognitive impairments, and their families

Experience with medically at-risk populations, such as those in long-term care, hospice, or acute care settings
