Part-time Instructor School Law

Position Summary

The University of South Carolina School of Law is seeking adjunct professors to teach law school courses during the Fall 2026 semester.

Job Duties

Teach designated law school courses during the Fall 2026 semester.

Develop and maintain course materials and assignments.

Provide instruction to a diverse student body.

Meet class schedule requirements and maintain flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

Applicant must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

At least two years of teaching or legal practice experience.

Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated probability of success as a teacher.

Work Schedule

Part‑time, 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester.

Schedule will vary depending on the class schedule; flexibility required.

Benefits

Position Attributes
