Directs the cardiovascular service line at assigned location. Responsible for overall operational management, personnel management, financial management, quality improvement initiatives, marketing promotion, business development and strategic planning of Cardiovascular Services. Oversees or directs the development of policies for area(s) of responsibility. Approves policies and/or seeks other system, regional, clinical service approval as appropriate.

Creates and seeks approval of organizational structures. Approves personnel actions such as hires, fires, disciplines, etc. Ensures the timely completion of performance appraisals. Determines staff training needs and coordinates training programs to enhance staff skills. Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
