Travel RN – PCU / Stepdown (Nights – 3x12's)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours guaranteed per week | 12-week assignment | Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend | Holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) serving cardiovascular, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients
Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
Participate in weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday nights) and holiday rotation as scheduled
Float to other stepdown or PCU units within the facility as needed
Required Qualifications
Active RN state licensure (Indiana license or compact eligibility required)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a stepdown, PCU, or progressive care setting
Demonstrated experience caring for CVPCU, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a surgical progressive care or intermediate care unit environment
Familiarity with caring for complex cardiac and thoracic post-operative patient populations
