Head of Recruiting & HR

The Human Resource Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including overseeing HR support members, hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, KPI tracking, developing & enforcing company policies and practices. The HR manager also directly supports and advises leadership at all levels with guidance, performance management, SOP development, and strategic personnel planning.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Manages employee recruitment pipeline, from initial application through hiring and onboarding.
Oversees KPI management with relation to recruitment metrics, new employee onboarding and performance, and payroll costs
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Prepare and administer payroll processing in conjunction with finance department
Advise senior leadership on matters related to strategic HR initiatives
Conducts routine meetings with regional management and location managers regarding team performance and hiring requirements
performance and talent management; and training and development.
Facilitate management and company-wide meetings as needed.
Set targets for and manage HR Recruiter and/or HR coordinator
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
GED or High School Diploma (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
At least 4 - 6 years of human resource management experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, walking, or sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
