Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a Contract position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who can manage the full bookkeeping cycle with accuracy, maintain organized records, and keep payables, receivables, and reconciliations on track. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, using accounting systems effectively, and ensuring financial data remains current and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, including maintaining accurate financial records and supporting routine accounting activities.
• Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor outstanding obligations to keep accounts payable current.
• Prepare customer billing, record incoming payments, and follow up on open balances to maintain accounts receivable accuracy.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to confirm transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Manage daily entries in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage Intacct while preserving clean and consistent financial data.
• Assist with month-end close tasks by reviewing account activity, organizing supporting documentation, and preparing internal reports.
• Track financial transactions carefully and help identify issues that may affect reporting accuracy or cash flow visibility. • Demonstrated experience handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in a detail-focused business environment.
• Practical knowledge of high-volume accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with various accounting platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with a consistent approach to follow-through.
