Contract | Day/Night Rotating Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit setting
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population as needed to meet operational needs
May be required to care for patients on ventilators
Rotate between day and night shifts as required by the facility
Work at least every other holiday as part of scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (travel experience may be considered for the recent experience requirement)
Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience within a single facility location in the specialty
• Prior experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
