Chemist Part-time

Job Description Chemist / Chemical Technician $60,000 - $80,000/year (DOE)

Our client, a technical services company specializing in process separations, chemical technologies, and laboratory analysis for the oil & gas, energy, and industrial process sectors, is looking for a Chemist or Chemical Technician to join their growing team near Conroe, TX.

Perform chemical analysis and laboratory testing on process, water, and hydrocarbon samples
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate, reliable results
Document and interpret analytical data to support engineering and client recommendations
Help troubleshoot process contamination issues by identifying root causes
Support testing and development of chemical technologies and process chemical products
Maintain lab safety, quality control, and proper chemical handling procedures
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering
OR: No degree required if you have considerable hands-on chemical analysis experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
