Construction/ Ironworker

IRONWORKER PLEASE DO NOT CALL REGARDING OPEN POSITIONS
Job Summary Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects. Raises, places and unites beams, girders, columns, bracing, and other structural steel members to construct structures or framework.
Use basic rigging knowledge to set up hoisting and raising of structural steel members.
Signals crane operator in setting of steel members during erection.
Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together in various body positions and may assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
Bolts, welds, and cuts material as needed to make up connections.
Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies
Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment
Full-time position, benefits, hourly pay
Qualifications Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Able to travel and work overtime (may include nights and weekends).
Work Conditions Construction site with mobile construction equipment.
Outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to building materials and dust.
