Description

Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functionality
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize recovery
Provide education to patients and their families on treatment objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
Record evaluations, interventions, and progress in line with facility standards and regulatory requirements
Engage in multidisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive care
Education

~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist
Preferred CPR certification
Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not a requirement
Skills

Previous experience is highly desirable
