Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU Unit

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- AA completion required.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Local & travel allowed.
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
- 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
- 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Mechanical Ventilator management, Therapist Driven Protocol
Preferred Skills/Experience: Intubations experience
Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
- Holiday Requirements: 70% of holidays
Floating Requirements: Coverage for Floyd Medical Center - omitting NICU
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
