Exciting Opportunity for ICU Nurses!
Job Description:

• Shift: 18:45-07:15
• Location: Asheville, NC
• Unit: J4-NSICU
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:2

Unit Specifics:

• Staffing: Unit secretaries and tech availability
• Equipment: Baxter pumps
• Documentation System: Cerner

Scheduling Requirements:

• Self-Schedule / Unit needs
• 6 weekend shifts per period

Floating Policy:
- Travelers float first to other ICUs or step-down units
Patient Experience Requirements:
- Neurology experienced ICU nurses preferred
Certifications Needed:

- NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Skill Set:
- Must have: ACLS, BLS, ICU experience
- Advanced skills needed for care of:

• Neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients
• Post-neurosurgery patients

Procedures Performed on Unit:

- CRRT

• Bedside EVDs
• A-line monitoring

Dress Code:
- Required uniform: Navy Blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies:
- Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines
Awards/Recognition:

• Outstanding department/team awards
