Head of Project Management

We're partnering with a respected structural engineering consultancy in New York City that is looking to add a Structural Project Manager to its growing team.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced structural engineer who has already stepped into a project management role and is looking to take ownership of exciting building projects from concept through construction. You'll work alongside talented engineers, architects, and clients while managing project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doin gManage multiple structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completio
nLead structural design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and high-rise building project
sCoordinate project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverable
sReview structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports for quality and accurac
sManage project meetings and communicate progress to clients and internal leadershi
pMentor and oversee junior engineers and designers throughout project deliver
yPerform site visits and provide engineering support during constructio
nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standard
ceCurrent or previous experience working as a Structural Project Manager is requir
reStrong experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation syste
msExperience managing client relationships and multidisciplinary project tea
msProficiency with structural analysis software such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, SAFE, RISA-3D, or simil
arExperience with Revit and AutoC
ADStrong understanding of NYC Building Code, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and other applicable design standar
