Technical Project Manager

Position Title: IT Project Manager Duration: 4 Months (Possible Extension) Pay Rate: $52 /hr on W2 Location: New York, NY 10001 (Prefer candidates who can come into the NYC office but open to the right candidate who can commute to Berkeley Heights, NJ or Clark, NJ instead.) Schedule: Hybrid - in office 3 days per week and 2 days WFH Reinforcing that this candidate must be proficient: Highly proficient in the use of ServiceNOW for timeline creation, management and Demand/ticket creation Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Powerpoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to participate in presentation skills to senior leadership Job Summary: The role of the Technical Project Manager is responsible for the management, documentation and delivery of the project plan, inclusive of timeline, scope, and budget requirements of a new brand acquisition into the Luxury Products Division. The candidate will need to work seamlessly between Global and US stakeholders from various functions inclusive of operations, supply chain, finance, information technology, data, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, retail systems and online (eCommerce, consumer data and omni sales). The candidate will also support presentations to senior leadership by working with their manager to summarize the overall plan to fully integrate the new brand acquisition in all channels within the aligned timeline, budget and technical scope. The ideal candidate must be organized and focused on attention-to-detail for documenting all phases of the project delivery. They must work collaboratively with all cross-functional teams with demonstrated problem solving skills. They must be able to identify risks and report status clearly and effectively to other team members and senior leadership. This person should have strong communication skills and understand how to prioritize both online and omnichannel workstreams in an efficient way, while keeping the overall project objective and goals in mind. This ideal candidate will also need to be able to support their manager and cross-functional stakeholders from both business and IT through the Governance process to ensure alignment between Global, Zone and Local leadership approval checkpoints. In order to achieve success, the candidate will need to work effectively across highly technical and strategically driven business stakeholders including corporate teams (Division HQ, CDMO, Domain IT) to summarize the strategy to integrate the specific technical or business workstream into the overall project roadmap. The person must also be a self-starter who is willing to share learnings with teammates and brand teams, while also working closely with corporate partners and center of excellence (COE) teams, as well as business partners ranging from agencies to highly technical systems integration companies. This role will drive collaboration and influences multiple levels of leadership to execute on the following key deliverables & responsibilities: Proven ability in successfully running multiple projects and ability to self-motivate, work independently, and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills with avid attention to detail and follow through with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, negotiation skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide optimization recommendations Strong project management skills with an ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across a matrixed environment Clear understanding of full customer journey and must be highly organized and adapt to change as needed Demonstrates strong omnichannel vision with a willingness to learn new technologies and platforms Advanced technical knowledge with experience working with 3rd party integrations Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Digital, Retail, Data and Business Leadership teams to evaluate opportunities for creating project and process efficiencies Job Requirements: College Degree 5-7 years experience in digital strategy with strong existing knowledge of indirect and direct-to-consumer website operations The candidates must be proficient in creating and managing timelines in ServiceNOW, or another project management tool that can import in ServiceNOW. The candidate must have experience and proficiency in working in ServiceNOW. The candidate must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft tools of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, TEAMS and Outlook because they will also support presentations to senior leadership by working with their manager to summarize the overall plan to fully integrate the new brand acquisition in all channels within the aligned timeline, budget and technical scope. It requires constant interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marekting, Digital Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Care, Indirect eCommerce, GM, CDMO) to coordinate work and deliver objectives. Actively builds networks and becomes an in-house Supply Chain expert on the account to influence, convince, and introduce new ways of improving how we meet the needs of the account and our consumer.
