Construction/ Ironworker

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Rebar Fabrication Laborer, you support production by assembling, staging, and handling rebar and mesh cages to meet project specifications. This role also includes loading/unloading materials, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with general warehouse tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

*First shift 5am start time and Second shifts 12pm start time available*

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area through consistent housekeeping practices

Support production and warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned by supervision

Safely load and unload rebar deliveries from vendors using proper handling techniques and equipment

Handle, assemble, and stage rebar and mesh cages according to production specifications and quality standards

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded team player with strong attention to detail and basic fabrication skills. The ideal candidate can read a tape measure, follow blueprints, and work efficiently in a hands-on production environment.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

Previous rebar or construction experience preferred

Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch

Basic math and algebra skills

Ability to safely use a variety of tools, including rebar tie guns, rebar shears, and rebar/mesh benders

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use

Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours

Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently

Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards

Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather , and outdoors (Depending on location)

Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
