Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Contract Role

Pay: $65.00 per hour

Saxon Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing operations. This contract role focuses on process optimization, continuous improvement, and driving world-class quality and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for safety, quality, cost, and delivery

Improve product flow through tooling, fixtures, line layouts, ergonomics, and material presentation

Lead root cause analysis using DMAIC, 5-Why, 8D, and similar methodologies

Analyze production and quality data to drive data-based decisions

Support new product introduction from pilot through full production

Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Strong manufacturing or process engineering experience

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and structured problem solving
