The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life experience.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their unique challenges and treatment goals.Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring quality interaction during each session to foster patient progress.Utilize cost-effective treatment modalities to enhance patient mobility while focusing on non-surgical alternatives.Monitor and evaluate patients' progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.Document all patient interactions accurately in our EMR system, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance and comprehensive patient records.Encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering motivation and adherence to the prescribed treatment regimen.Collaborate effectively with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and share insights for optimal patient outcomes.Promote educational resources that encourage healthy lifestyle choices among patients.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with a diverse clientele seeking rehabilitation from sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and post-surgical recovery. Our patient demographic includes athletes of all ages, active adults, and individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries. Your expertise will be essential in empowering patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their physical functionality.QualificationsA Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, free from any sanctions or board inquiries.Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic treatment methods.Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens catered to individual patient needs.Proficient in using electronic medical records software, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques, supported by recent research.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.Experience working with a high-volume patient load while maintaining quality care and patient satisfaction.Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and techniques that enhance patient recovery.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
