Care Home Nurse (nights)

Registered Nurse

Position available for a Med/Surg Telemetry RN. Contract length is 13 weeks with a possibility of extension. Must work every other weekend. Floating to other units is required. This is a high-volume unit with complex patient diagnoses, including medicine, orthopedic overflow, and long-term care patients.

MS/Tele telemetry monitoring

Feeding tube care and management

Central line care/management

Phlebotomy and peripheral line management

Orthopedic trauma care and total joint replacements

Surgical drain management

Isolation precautions and wound care

The facility is a tertiary care hospital with a total of 528 staffed beds. Daily patient ratios for days and nights are 1:6.
