Mammographer - Radiology Mammography

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Mammography to perform imaging services in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities Include

Operating mammography equipment, preparing patients, and selecting technical parameters.

Explaining procedures, educating patients on breast health, and developing high-quality images.

Following radiation safety protocols and ensuring prompt, accurate image submission to PACS.

Maintaining equipment functionality, reporting malfunctions, and keeping the department clean and organized.

Performing other duties as assigned to support department operations.

Qualifications And Skills

Completion of a Radiology Technology program.

ARRT-R credential required; ARRT-M Mammography certification within 12 months if not already obtained.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

State-specific licensure or temporary accreditation, where applicable.

Physical requirements include constant standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and occasional bending or kneeling, with the ability to lift and move patients and objects up to 50 lbs.

This role requires alertness, attention to safety, and proficiency in communication and technical skills.
