Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:

Current Washington State RN Licensure
HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire
Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred
Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
AAP NRP Advanced certification required for all RNs working in MBU prior to the end of orientation and renewed every 2 years
ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years
STABLE course completion within 6 months of completing orientation, and renewed every 2 years (optional)
AWHONN's Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course for all L&D RNs is required and must be obtained within 3 months of completing L&D training and renewed every 2 years
Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess and document patients' physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
Implement care according to established procedures, policies, and care plans.
Identify patient and family learning needs and provide education as required.
Ensure the delegation and supervision of patient care activities for optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and organizational policies.
Engage in professional development to stay current with healthcare trends and practices.

Additional accountabilities, as required by management, must be handled to meet organizational standards.
