Indian River Hospital provides wound care management to patients suffering from both acute and chronic wounds such as diabetic ulcers, burns, and necrotizing infections. By joining the wound care team as an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey and assist patients with healing their wounds. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering your education, committee participation and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Inpatient, wound care, home health and/or wound vac experience
Personal Protective Equipment:
