Full Time Faculty Position in Graphic Design

ROLE DESCRIPTION Instructional Faculty - Arts+Media - Graphic Design This position offices in-person, on campus Faculty members at Valor Christian High School are charged with preparing tomorrow's leaders to transform the world for Christ . Valor excels in advancing Valor's Student Outcomes including: spiritual formation, college preparedness, and cultural engagement

Through graphic design classes and interactions with the Faculty member, students will have the opportunity to experience God's love and know that God has a plan and purpose for their life

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline closely related to the subjects to be taught

Advanced Degree in a Graphic Design related area is preferred

A minimum of three years industry experience graphic design or related fields is preferred

Solid biblical and theological foundation and understanding

Desire to teach and/or experience within Christian education

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is essential

Experience with design technologies such 3D printing and laser engraving is highly valued.

Yearbook leadership and design experience is highly valued.

HOURS PER WEEK: Full-Time, Exempt SUPERVISOR: Visual Arts Department Chair PAY RANGE: $45,000 - $65,000, depending on experience START DATE: July 30 th , 2024
