Job Description
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the processing, embedding, cutting, and staining of surgical and autopsy tissue, as well as the preparation and staining of cytopathology specimens according to established policies and procedures for Pathologist examination and interpretation.
Responsibilities include:
Correct management of patient body tissue
Preparation of microscopic sections for diagnosis by the Pathologist
Documentation and maintenance of supplies and equipment
Performance of specialized and selective techniques required for diagnostic purposes
Participation in the Quality Assurance program
