Restoration Estimator - Large Loss

Salary Range $82,000.00 - $145,000.00 Base+Commission/year Position Type Full Time Education Level Not Specified Category Construction

This position is primarily responsible for estimating large and/or complex construction jobs, negotiating job scopes, and ratifying contract amounts. This is a full-time position.

Create the written estimate for work in the carrier-preferred estimating software, such as Xactimate or CoreLogic Mobile Claims; Handle full negotiation of project through to estimate approval by insurance carrier or client

Schedule and execute regular onsite meetings with client and Project Manager Prepare construction contract and coordinate contract ratification

Assist Project Management team in producing change orders and supplements

Language skills: Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, construction documents, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.

Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of industry-related software including the Xactware and CoreLogic Claims software suites, be able to touch type, and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language.

Regularly required to climb roofs, crawl into confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, which includes being able to carry a 28 ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line of the associated property
