A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking an associate to join its expanding intellectual property practice. S. district courts, the U.International Trade Commission, or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and works closely with trial teams on legal strategy, critical motions, and issue preservation throughout trial proceedings.

We are seeking a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized intellectual property practice. This opportunity is available in the Dallas, Austin, and New York offices and is ideal for an attorney with meaningful experience handling complex patent disputes.

International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Handle complex patent litigation matters from initial case development through resolution

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, claim-construction filings, and other substantive legal documents

Conduct legal and technical research involving patent infringement, validity, enforceability, and damages

Manage written discovery, document productions, and expert-related discovery

Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy

Mid-level experience handling patent litigation matters

International Trade Commission, or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board

Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Strong academic credentials

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within lean, collaborative litigation teams

Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field preferred
