Material Handler (2nd Shift) - Hourly

Material HandlerNow hiring for a Material Handler in Harrisburg, NC. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Shifts are available for 1st – 6am-2:30pm and 2nd shift 4pm-12:30am. This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time.Job duties include stacking finished roof and floor trusses in the yard or on trailers according to customer orders, ensuring proper alignment, protection, and stability. Inspect trusses for damage or misalignment before stacking. Operate stacker lifts, jacks, and other equipment to move and position trusses safely. Follow all safety procedures, use proper PPE, and adhere to facility safety protocols. On-the-job training provided for stacking, banding, and safety procedures.Education requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.Experience requirements: Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments. Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation. Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures. Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required. Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.Physical capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
