Role Summary Role focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. Role requires the skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. Typical titles include Forklift operator, Equipment Operator, MHE Operator

Responsibilities Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks

Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties

Must ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately

Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.

Qualifications Must be Forklift Certified

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience

Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/shrink wrap material

Previous forklift certifications preferred

Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends

Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Pay Range $19.00 - $22.00 per hour *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
