The Painter will perform skilled work involving the preservation, priming and painting of interior and exterior surfaces at assigned Atria Senior Living Communities.Remove old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, and wire brush to prepare surfaces for painting.Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler using caulking gun and putty knife.Remove fixtures, such as pictures, door knobs, switch/outlet covers, fire alarm covers, etc from walls prior to painting.Spread drop cloths over floors, room furnishings, and covers surfaces with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Wash surfaces prior to painting with mildew remover as needed.
