Advocacy Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Attorney to join their team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in client representation and transactional matters, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. This position may require statewide travel.

Duties Conduct legal research and provide opinions.

Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

Represent clients in procedural and transactional matters.

Monitor and report on legal developments affecting clients.

Draft letters, legal pleadings, and e-file documents.

Participate in case management, discovery, and oral advocacy.

Assist with responses to legal service proposals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.

Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

3-5 years of legal practice experience.

Familiarity with Florida Administrative Procedures Act, Sunshine Law, and Public Records Act.

Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information and prioritize tasks.

Experience in state or local government preferred.

Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications Florida Bar Membership

Skills Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and initiative.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
