Shift: Night Shift

Job Overview MemorialCare Long Beach is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join their fast-paced trauma team. This position is open to first-time travelers with 3-5 years of ER experience in a large academic facility .

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care to patients with varying levels of acuity

Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in critical condition

Administer medications, IV fluids, and advanced life support interventions

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans

Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records

Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience (3-5 years in a large academic setting preferred )

Certifications Required:

BLS

ACLS

NIH Stroke Certification

PALS

First-time Travelers: Accepted with 3-5 years of ER experience

Floating: Not required

On-Call Requirement: Not required

Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $60.00 - $63.00/hour

Overtime: 1.5x after 12 hours/day or 60 hours/week

Holiday Pay: Applies to New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Additional Details Local Candidates: Facility allows locals at a local rate (must be disclosed if within 50 miles)

RTO Policy:

Pre-approved time off at the manager’s discretion

Time off must be submitted at the time of application

Vaccination Requirements:
