Full-Time Bistro Cook

Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $18.15 to $22.38 depending on qualifications and experience
Must be at least 18 years and older
Cooks prepare the highest quality food items for retail by following established recipes, standards and procedures.
Inventory cases and prepare production list
Follow recipes to prepare and reheat food items
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
18 years of age or older

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
• Current Culinary Arts student or graduate, preferred
• Knowledge on food preparation
• Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen
• Excellent customer service
• Passionate about food

Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.
