Retail Salesperson - Urgently Hiring

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, follows company best practice standards, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation.

Essential Functions

Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors.

Maintains awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure environment.

Maintains a clutter‑free, clear egress to emergency exits.

Immediately corrects or reports unsafe conditions to Store Leadership.

Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; friendly and professional at all times.

Assists Customers and is register‑trained, answers questions politely.

Greets all Customers with eye contact, smile, and saying “hello” throughout the store.

Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times.

Responds to Customer Service calls immediately and handles all issues courteously.

Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.

Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters, mirrors, and replenishing restroom supplies.

Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the dress code.

Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery in accordance with best practices.

Expedites newly received merchandise to the sales floor and merchandises all items per guidelines.

Understands Loss Prevention Awareness program and merchandise protection standards.

Demonstrates integrity and honesty with Associates and Customers, safeguarding confidential information.

Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock policies and reports disposals to Store Leadership.

Follows all cash, check, charge card, refund, void, and offline procedures with accuracy.

Demonstrates a sense of urgency to maximize productivity and minimize steps.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.

Physical Requirements / ADA

Use all store equipment including PDTs, registers, and PC.

Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.

Regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.

Occasionally push, pull, and lift 25 pounds.

Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other supplies.

Additional qualifications may be required.

Stockroom shift requires pushing, pulling, and lifting 20 pounds.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $17.50 - $18.00, dependent on experience, skills, and location. The listed range is one component of the total compensation package for employees; other rewards vary by position and location.
