Restaurant Server

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing outstanding food and beverage service to guests professionally, courteously, and efficiently. This role ensures a positive dining experience by maintaining Hilton's high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. A successful candidate will have a welcoming demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests as soon as possible when they arrive at the restaurant.

Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

Serve food and beverages efficiently, checking in with guests to make sure they're happy.

Process payments accurately and promptly using the hotel's point-of-sale system.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and the dining area.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up tables, refilling condiments, and polishing glassware or silverware.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Handle guest concerns and special requests professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and Hilton brand standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server in a hotel or upscale restaurant is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or coursework is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry trays or items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
