Provide technical guidance on utility and drainage modeling, ensuring practical, efficient, and constructible solutions. Review and oversee engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation, upholding Dewberry’s high standards of quality. Permit projects through local Authority’s Having Jurisdiction and the State Water Management DistrictsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, supporting business development and marketing efforts for new and expanded services. Prepare project scopes, schedules, and fee proposals, with accountability for budgets and delivery. Manage projects from concept through construction completion, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Participate in field meetings and provide support during construction. Mentor and support staff development, sharing technical expertise and reinforcing a collaborative team culture.Required Skills & Required ExperienceWhat You BringBS in Civil Engineering requiredFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license required8+ years of experience in site civil or land development design and constructionStrong working knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and utility modelingExperience in higher education and/or energy projects is a plusAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to project teams and reviewersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively work and interact with clients, maintain project budgets and schedulesAbility to work and thrive in a team environment in the office. Advanced ability with AutoCAD or MicroStation and Microsoft OfficeAdvanced experience with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and ICPRDon’t meet every single requirement?
