Current nursing license required

Must-Have: Post-surgical experience, including urology, orthopedic, and general care Ability to learn and take on charge responsibilities Team player with good communication skills

Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis. Establishes nursing care objectives. Defines nursing interventions. Provides physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Assists in understanding patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Re-evaluates care objectives as necessary. Must be willing to work at least one major holiday. Unit has 23 beds and uses customary equipment, including IV pumps. EMR system utilized is EPIC.
